About the Artist

Hi, my name is Bethany! I started painting when I was 10 years old, and I've kept learning and growing as an artist ever since. Most of my artwork is inspired by the farm, it's where I feel most at home, and I love capturing each animal's personality. It's really important to me that I give back with my art, after all, I consider it a blessing to have the ability and opportunity to paint; so if you check out my website you'll see I've donated lots of paintings, like to 'Art with a Heart' when people lost their homes in the Slave Lake, AB fire, and to the Alberta Guide Dog Fundraiser. If you're interested, I've won a few awards too, like being Wildlife Habitat Canada's Youth Conservation Stamp Artist in 2011, or Best in Show at the Calgary Stampede in 2014. Because I love art, I went on to study it at University and graduated from the U of Waterloo with a BA in 2015. I also have Diplomas in Children's Book Illustration and Pet Portraiture, and Certificates in Equine Care, Cattle AI, Prairie Horticulture and from Charis Bible College. You'll probably see me around as I'm at lots of the local shows, and have many very happy repeat customers. I hope that my paintings bring you much joy today, and in the years to come.
